Jaberi Ansari meets Parliament’s Foreign Policy Commission

TEHRAN, Sep. 24 (MNA) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Jaberi Ansari went to Iran’s parliament on Sunday to discuss Syria’s developments and the referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan.

“In the opening of today meeting, MP Boroujerdi, the Head of the commission, addressed the meeting and recounted the latest developments in regards to Iraqi Kurdistan referendum and the stances taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said MP Seyyed Hossein Naghavi Hosseini another member of the commission recounting the Sunday meeting between Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari and the legislators of Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission.

The law-maker quoted MP Boroujerdi saying that the referendum is harmful in the first place for Kurds and the Kurdistan region and in the second place for the region, neighboring countries, and Iraq.
